Musk Sees Breakthrough with Nvidia AI System: Power Levels to Soar

SpaceX's shares climbed 1% in overnight trading after CEO Elon Musk expressed optimism about reaching a significant milestone with Nvidia's AI hardware.

Musk said SpaceX is 'cautiously optimistic' it can run its version of Nvidia's VR72 system at close to 250kW average power, which would put peak power about 10% higher. This achievement could be crucial for the company's ground-based systems as well, according to Musk.

The CEO credited the progress to the 'close working partnership and co-design with the amazing Nvidia engineering team,' which he said is key to achieving this goal.
