Mystery Amazon Packages Haunt Baltimore Homeowner for 2 Years

A Baltimore homeowner has been receiving Amazon packages addressed to a person he doesn't know for nearly two years. Frank McMillian, who has lived in his home for 26 years, says the mystery packages have been arriving at his door with no indication of who Skylar Baker is or why they are being sent to him.

McMillian tried to track down the correct address on his own but was unable to find it. He became frustrated and decided to contact WMAR-2 News, which had reported on a similar incident involving an Amazon customer who received over 100 packages addressed to someone else.

The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) has warned consumers about unexpected packages and brushing scams, where scammers send packages to make their sales look more legitimate or popular. The FTC advises recipients not to scan any QR codes inside the package, change their shopping passwords, and check their credit report for anything they don't recognize.

Amazon is actively investigating McMillian's deliveries, but so far, no explanation has been given as to why the packages are being sent to him. McMillian has been holding onto the packages, refusing to open or throw them away, in case they contain important information about his identity or credit card details.
