NASA Pushes Forward with Starliner Project After Troubled Test Flight
NASA is moving forward with Boeing's troubled Starliner capsule project after a failed crewed test flight. The agency plans to conduct an uncrewed test flight in December, which will carry cargo to the International Space Station.
The project has been plagued by issues with helium leaks and the failure of five reaction control system thrusters. NASA administrator Jared Isaacman announced that the agency would provide extra money and support for the project after its 'Type A mishap.'
Astronaut Woody Hoburg will command the upcoming mission, although details about his crewmates have not been released.
