Nebius Stock Soars on Price Hike Amid Surging AI Demand
Nebius Group's stock price surged on Thursday morning after it announced a 20% price hike for its on-demand GPU compute services, effective October 1. The move follows the company's rapid growth in revenue, which reached $582 million in the second quarter and is expected to reach $3.2 billion by year-end.
Nebius has been racing to meet unprecedented demand for its AI processing services, which are powered by Nvidia GPUs. The company is recognized as a Reference Platform Cloud Partner by Nvidia and holds a 9.3% stake in Nebius, including a $2 billion investment announced earlier this year.
Daniel Newman, CEO of The Futurum Group, noted that 'AI demand remains off the charts' and that Nebius's price increase is just another example of the growing market for AI processing services.
