Neeraj Gupta Takes Reins at Elastic in India

Elastic has appointed Neeraj Gupta as its Country Sales Leader, Emerging Enterprise for India. In this role, Gupta will oversee the company's mid-market and general business teams, focusing on strategic white-space accounts and developing strategies to pursue multi-million-dollar opportunities.

Gupta has been with Elastic for over four years, having joined as Director, Sales, Telco and Media. Before that, he held key positions at companies such as Angel Network, CommScope, Nokia, VMware, Cisco Systems, Sun Microsystems, and Bharti Airtel.

In his new role, Gupta will work closely with teams, customers, and partners to foster collaboration and innovation, driving business performance and expanding market reach. He has expressed his goals in a LinkedIn post, stating that he aims to help customers shape their journey across Search, Observability, and Security by building the right strategy and identifying high-value use cases.

Gupta holds a B.E. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS), Pilani, and has completed certifications in Sales, Enterprise Sales, and Philip Kotler Frameworks from the Institute of Management Technology (IMT), Ghaziabad.
