Nest Doorbells from Google have been experiencing an unusual issue where their announcements are switching to American accents, even if they're set up to use a different language.

This problem has been reported by users in several countries outside the US, including France and the UK. While other interactions with Google Home devices continue to use the correct accent and language, Nest Doorbell announcements have inexplicably adopted an American voice.

One user claimed that setting English (US) as a secondary language and then deleting it after a few seconds resolved the issue for them. However, it's unclear if this solution works universally or is just a temporary fix.
