Nike Stock Set for Volatile Ride Ahead of Earnings Report

Nike's (NKE) stock price has been on the move ahead of its Fiscal Q1 2027 earnings report, which is set to be released after markets close today. As investors eagerly await the results, they're turning to historical data to make educated guesses about how the shares will perform.

A review of Nike's post-earnings stock movement over the past eight quarters reveals a mixed picture. In five out of those eight periods, the stock fell after earnings, with declines ranging from 0.21% to as much as 15.51%. However, the company has also experienced significant gains in some quarters, including a 15.19% jump on June 26, 2025.

Nike's adjusted earnings per share have consistently come in above analysts' estimates over the past eight quarters, and revenue has surpassed Wall Street's expectations in seven out of those periods. The company is expected to report adjusted EPS of 44 cents alongside revenue of $11.32 billion today.
