NNPC and Chevron Deepen Partnership to Boost Crude Oil Production

The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC Ltd.) and Chevron Nigeria Limited have strengthened their partnership to boost crude oil production from their joint venture.

A high-level meeting between the two companies, led by NNPC's Group Chief Executive Officer Engr. Bashir Bayo Ojulari and Chevron Nigeria/Mid-Africa Business Unit Chairman and Managing Director Mr. Jim Swartz, focused on strategies to increase output.

The discussions centered around accelerating drilling and development activities to unlock additional volumes, with a particular emphasis on advancing programmes that can support sustainable production growth.

Both parties acknowledged the importance of the NNPC/CNL Joint Venture in Nigeria's upstream oil and gas operations and committed to deepening their partnership to pursue practical measures to increase production while supporting the continued development of the country's petroleum resources.
