Nokia and Microsoft Unite to Revolutionize Network Automation with AI-Driven Analytics

Nokia and Microsoft have strengthened their partnership to advance network automation in telecom operators' networks. The two companies will integrate Nokia Data Suite with Microsoft Fabric, creating a unified data foundation for AI-driven analytics and decision-making. This integration aims to address the issue of fragmented data in telecom networks by connecting Nokia's products with Microsoft's AI tools.

The initial applications will focus on wireless access networks, including automated assurance for 5G voice services, network coverage and capacity analytics, and predictive maintenance. The partnership supports multi-vendor and cross-network domain environments, allowing operators to deploy the solution in public clouds, hybrid clouds, or on-premises enterprise infrastructure.

Nokia's U.S. pre-market stock rose nearly 5% to $10.59 following the announcement, with its ADR having previously closed up 3.05% at $10.14 on Wednesday. Nokia stated that this solution supports gradual enhancement of autonomous network operations while retaining essential human oversight and security controls.
