Nvidia and Broadcom Poised for Huge Gains in AI Sector
Nvidia (NVDA) and Broadcom (AVGO) are two of the top investment opportunities in the AI sector, according to analysts. Despite their strong growth potential, both companies' valuations suggest that the market has not yet priced in any significant gains.
The AI build-out is far from over, with data centers being built everywhere and spending on computing units expected to increase by 2030. Broadcom expects $115 billion in AI semiconductor revenue in 2027, doubling to $230 billion in 2028, while Nvidia's long-term call projects data center capital expenditures to reach $3 trillion to $4 trillion by 2030.
Nvidia management believes the big five AI hyperscalers will spend about $800 billion on capital expenditures this year, which could reach around $1 trillion when other players are added in. This growth is expected to give companies like Nvidia and Broadcom an even greater share of revenue, potentially tripling or quadrupling their revenue by 2030.
A $10,000 investment split between these two companies could deliver a 3x or 4x return over the next few years, making them smart buys for investors. By the end of 2030, this investment could be worth between $30,000 and $40,000, according to analysts.
