Nvidia and Marvell Cash in on AI Boom
The artificial intelligence sector has propelled Marvell Technology and Nvidia to remarkable revenue growth. According to company filings, Marvell's quarterly revenue increased from $1.3 billion in Q3 2024 to $2.4 billion in Q2 2026, while Nvidia's rose from $30.0 billion in Q3 2024 to $81.6 billion in Q2 2026.
Nvidia's dominance in the AI semiconductor chip market is evident in its far larger total sales and rapid sales acceleration. The company's products play a central role in the AI ecosystem, with customers gobbling up its offerings at a swift pace. A notable example of Nvidia's significance is its partnership with the Japanese government to launch the world's first national infrastructure dedicated to AI.
Marvell, on the other hand, has seen consistent sales growth, indicating growing demand for its solutions. Its products are not as central to AI as Nvidia's but are key components that are finding customer adoption. Marvell's stock price soared in June to a 52-week high of $329.88 after it was added to the S&P 500 index.
