Snap has gained three major tech partners for its Specs augmented reality glasses: Nvidia, Amazon Web Services (AWS), and Salesforce. The partnership aims to bring AI agents directly to the Specs platform, targeting retail, manufacturing, and field operations.

Nvidia will supply AI agents from its XR software stack, while AWS connects Specs to Amazon Quick, an AI assistant for work. Meanwhile, Salesforce brings its Agentforce workplace AI platform to Specs, allowing staff to identify objects, open cases, and update records hands-free.

The announcement comes after Snap launched the $2,195 Specs in June, which resulted in a 10% stock drop. Despite this, shares have lost only 1.89% since the launch, closing at $5.72. The company faces challenges in scaling its hardware sales and shifting away from advertising revenue.
