Nvidia Backs Data Center Land Company With Minority Stake
Nvidia has taken a minority stake in Cloverleaf Infrastructure, a company that provides powered land for data centers. The investment is part of Nvidia's efforts to support Cloverleaf's data center development projects.
Cloverleaf claims it has sold sites capable of supporting more than 7GW of power to data center developers, including Oracle and OpenAI in Wisconsin. It also has a pipeline of over 10GW of potential projects.
Nvidia's investment is significant, as the company continues to expand its presence in the data center ecosystem. This move comes after Nvidia invested $1.5bn in SoftBank's SB Energy and provided financial backing for OpenAI's massive data center project in Ohio.
