A recent study by the Media Research Center found that Google News and Apple News platforms may be favoring left-leaning media organizations. The group analyzed the presidential endorsements of publications promoted by these news aggregators over the past decade.

The review spanned from 1988 to 2024, covering ten presidential election cycles. During this period, none of the publications endorsed a Republican candidate for president. Instead, all 31 presidential endorsements supported Democratic candidates.

Former President Barack Obama was among those whose candidacies received support from these outlets. The study's findings raise questions about the potential influence on public opinion and media representation by these prominent news platforms.
