Nvidia Deal Drives Einride Shares Up 12% Amid Autonomous Fleet Expansion Plans
Nvidia's partnership with Einride has sent shockwaves through the market, propelling Einride EENRD shares upwards by over 12% to $4.41 in premarket trading.
The collaboration brings Nvidia's Blackwell computing architecture and DRIVE Hyperion platform into Einride's autonomous-trucking stack, potentially paving the way for larger-scale commercial operations.
Einride operates electric and autonomous freight networks across the US, Europe, and the Middle East, using its Saga AI platform and autonomous-driving technology to manage and optimize freight operations.
Under the partnership, Einride will use Nvidia's Blackwell infrastructure to train, test, and refine its autonomous-driving models, and adapt Nvidia's DRIVE Hyperion compute, sensor, software, and safety architecture for heavy-duty trucking.
Einride expects its fleet to reach 1,500 to 2,000 vehicles by 2028, with about 80% of demand potentially suitable for automation over the medium term.
