Nvidia Executives Unload Shares, But Most is Tax-Related
Nvidia's top executives have been selling off shares in bulk, but most of it is due to tax withholdings triggered by restricted stock unit vesting.
According to recent filings with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), five Nvidia executives, including CEO Jensen Huang, collectively disposed of approximately 160,000 company shares on September 16.
The majority of these transactions were not active selling, but rather shares withheld by the company to satisfy tax obligations arising from RSU vesting.
Nvidia's CFO Colette Kress was an exception, as she separately sold 34,918 Nvidia shares in three separate transactions on September 17 under a Rule 10b5-1 trading plan, cashing out approximately $7.65 million.
