Nvidia Eyes Massive Stake in Anthropic IPO

Nvidia is considering investing up to $10 billion in Anthropic's planned initial public offering (IPO), which could make the AI startup's market debut the largest IPO in history, according to two people familiar with the matter.

The company is looking to raise as much as $100 billion, which would put its valuation at about $2 trillion. This would represent another sharp increase in Anthropic's valuation, following a previous raise of $65 billion in May at a post-money valuation of $965 billion.

Nvidia and Anthropic have already outlined a broader partnership in November 2025, where Nvidia invested up to $10 billion in the AI startup. Anthropic has also committed to purchase $30 billion of Microsoft Azure computing capacity powered by Nvidia chips.
