Nvidia on Track for Strong Q2 Earnings Growth
Nvidia is poised for another strong quarter as demand for its products remains exceptionally high. The company's data-center business is expected to drive growth, accounting for most of revenue.
In Q1 2027, Nvidia generated $81.6 billion in revenue, a 85% year-over-year increase. Revenue rose $13.5 billion sequentially, with the data-center segment generating $75.2 billion in Q1 revenue, up 92% YOY and 21% sequentially.
The company's next-generation Blackwell platform remains one of its most important growth catalysts, with demand for both Blackwell and Blackwell Ultra systems solid. Nvidia is also expanding beyond GPUs and establishing a stronger presence in the CPU market, which could provide another significant growth engine.
Nvidia is expected to generate approximately $91 billion in revenue in Q2 2027, representing 95% YOY growth. Analysts expect earnings of $2.09 per share, a 111% year-over-year increase.
