Salesforce has launched Koa, a CRM reasoning model built on Nvidia's Nemotron, which will be used in the company's Agentforce platform. The model was trained on a proprietary synthetic data set modeled on CRM deployments over 27 years and leverages Nvidia Nemotron 3 Super.

Koa aims to harness enterprise processes, workflows, and policies and encapsulate them in a model, allowing Salesforce to keep AI costs in check while achieving better accuracy from open models. According to Salesforce, Koa matched or exceeded performance compared to leading models with 3x fewer errors in Salesforce's CRM Bench.

The use cases for Koa include generating leads, qualifying opportunities, and resolving service cases, with training data built on synthetic scenarios that reflect what Agentforce agents would see. The model will be available in Agentforce later this year in the US.
