Nvidia Powers Einride Autonomous Trucks with Hyperion Platform

Einride has partnered with Nvidia to build the next generation of its autonomous trucking system, the Einride Driver. The partnership will see Einride adapt Nvidia's Hyperion platform, a compute and sensor reference architecture for Level 4 autonomy, for use in heavy-duty trucks.

The Swedish company currently operates hundreds of electric trucks across the U.S., Europe, and the Middle East, including autonomous vehicles already in contracted customer deployments. It expects this number to reach between 1,500 and 2,000 by 2028, with about 80% of its demand suitable for automation in the medium term.

Einride designs, builds, and operates its driving system, handling safety validation, regulatory approval, and customer deployments itself. Nvidia supplies the compute platform and AI development tools underneath.
