Nvidia is expanding its partnerships in Japan to develop an artificial intelligence platform for next-generation robots. The chipmaker will partner with Noetra Corp. to build a national-scale AI computing facility, which will provide Japanese companies with access to advanced infrastructure to create intelligent systems.

The project aims to boost robotics and industrial automation across industries such as manufacturing, logistics, healthcare, and telecommunications. The AI factory will be powered by 27,500 Rubin GPUs and 13,750 Vera CPUs, providing 140 megawatts of computing capacity.

Japan's FRONTia initiative, launched by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI), focuses on building multimodal AI systems for robotics and physical applications. Nvidia's technology will be used to train advanced foundation models that support AI agents, digital twins, and robotics platforms.
