Nvidia's latest GPU has taken over as the most popular graphics card on Steam, according to the platform's September survey.

The Nvidia RTX 5070 reclaimed its title from the RTX 3060, with a notable 2.38% increase in ownership compared to last month.

This isn't the first time we've seen the RTX 5070 at the top spot, but it's clear that the current-gen 12GB card is gaining traction among gamers.

However, despite its popularity, 12GB VRAM is not the most popular choice among gamers. In fact, market share for 16GB graphics cards continues to climb and now holds the number one spot.
