NVIDIA Sees Continued Institutional Support Amid Valuation Concerns
NVIDIA Corporation (NASDAQ:NVDA) has seen significant institutional investment activity in recent quarters. One of the latest investors to acquire shares of NVDA is 46 Peaks LLC, which purchased 2,935 shares worth approximately $587,000 during the second quarter.
This acquisition represents a new position for 46 Peaks LLC in NVIDIA's stock and accounts for 0.4% of its holdings, making it the company's 13th largest holding.
NVIDIA has been a popular choice among institutional investors, with several major players increasing their stakes in the company. For example, Bank of America Corp DE lifted its holdings by 2.1% in the first quarter and now owns over 191 million shares valued at $33 billion. Invesco Ltd also increased its position in NVIDIA during the fourth quarter, purchasing an additional 446,178 shares.
Despite the strong institutional support, some analysts have expressed caution about NVIDIA's valuation. Rising component costs could pressure the company's margins, and investors are increasingly focused on AI infrastructure bottlenecks such as high-bandwidth memory and power consumption.
