NVIDIA Stake Sells off as Nelson Capital Management Lowers Holdings
Nelson Capital Management LLC has sold 24,342 shares of NVIDIA Corporation's (NASDAQ:NVDA) stock. This reduction lowers their stake in the company by 1.5% from the second quarter, according to a recent filing with the Securities & Exchange Commission.
The institutional investor now owns 1,606,013 shares, which account for 35.3% of Nelson Capital Management LLC's holdings and make NVIDIA its biggest position. The value of their NVIDIA holdings is approximately $321 million as of their most recent SEC filing.
Other hedge funds and institutional investors have also made significant changes to their positions in NVIDIA. For example, Boyd Wealth Management LLC increased its stake by 273.4% during the second quarter, while Altshuler Shaham Ltd raised its holdings by an impressive 6,451.9% in the first quarter.
NVIDIA's recent performance has been positive, with CEO Jensen Huang stating that the company expects to sell roughly twice as many chips next year. This expectation counters concerns about a slowdown in AI investment demand. Additionally, customer and ecosystem activity have provided further validation of NVIDIA's technology, including CoreWeave's deployment of multi-rack NVIDIA Vera Rubin clusters.
