NVIDIA Stock Nears Crucial Resistance Ahead of Key Earnings Report
NVIDIA Corporation (NASDAQ: NVDA) has been experiencing a strong uptrend in its stock price, thanks to its record earnings and growing AI ecosystem.
The company's second-quarter fiscal results revealed revenue of $96.2 billion, which is more than double the year-ago figure, and adjusted earnings per share of $2.22, beating estimates.
Nvidia's efforts to expand its AI ecosystem have helped sustain the bullish sentiment, with the company agreeing to buy Hugging Face for around $12.9 billion and reportedly considering investing up to $2 billion in the AI cloud company Nscale before its IPO.
The stock is technically in a strong uptrend, but it has hit an important resistance zone now, with shares trading near the top of a multi-month price consolidation zone between $228.45 and $230.36.
