Nvidia Stock Soars on Supply-Driven Growth Expectations
Nvidia's stock has risen 20.6% since mid-March, outperforming the S&P 500 during the same period.
This growth can be attributed to the company's strong earnings report in August, where it posted $96 billion in quarterly revenue, more than double a year earlier.
CFO Colette Kress stated that Nvidia expects to grow revenue by approximately 70% in fiscal 2028 due to supply constraints, not demand limitations.
The company's CEO Jensen Huang also pointed out the mechanism driving the stock's climb: 'Grace Blackwell rack orders were running up month-to-month increase 27%, that compounds.'
