Coca-Cola is set to enter the prebiotic soda market with a new line of products in its signature flavors, marking a significant move into one of the beverage industry's fastest-growing categories. The company plans to test these prebiotic sodas this fall, which will be based on its existing Coca-Cola Zero offerings.

'We're looking at taking our Coca-Cola Zero offerings into the prebiotic space,' said Stacy Jackson, vice president of the Coca-Cola trademark. 'It is going to be a test. We are launching in the fall. We really want to see if consumers want this product offering from us.'

This move follows the company's long history of innovation and adaptability, as it has grown from its humble beginnings in 1886 with just nine drinks sold per day to now serving almost two billion drinks daily.
