Nvidia's AI servers are set to become even more expensive due to rising memory costs. According to reports, some customers have been informed that prices for servers equipped with Nvidia's AI chips could increase by over 15%. This price hike is expected to apply to systems shipped in early 2027 and affect servers powered by the Vera Rubin and Grace Hopper platforms.

The reported price increases come as demand for memory chips continues to surge. Memory makers like Samsung, SK Hynix, and Micron have gained greater pricing power due to AI infrastructure spending straining supply.

This development comes as Nvidia prepares to report its second-quarter results on August 26. Analysts expect Nvidia's revenue to jump 96% to $92 billion, with third-quarter guidance projected to reach $103 billion.
