NVIDIA's Market Value Tops Meta Amazon and AMD Combined
NVIDIA (NASDAQ:NVDA) has achieved a staggering market valuation of $5.841 trillion as of October 6, 2026, surpassing the combined value of Meta Platforms (NASDAQ:META), Amazon (NASDAQ:AMZN), and AMD (NASDAQ:AMD). With Meta at $1.636 trillion, Amazon at $2.754 trillion, and AMD at $1.073 trillion, their total is $5.463 trillion, leaving NVIDIA ahead by $378 billion.
The company's remarkable financial performance backs this valuation. In the second quarter of fiscal 2027, reported on August 26, 2026, NVIDIA reported revenue of $96.22 billion, up 105.85% year over year, and net income of $59.69 billion, up 125.9%. This far exceeds the earnings of Meta and Amazon in the same quarter, which were $15.8 billion and $27.5 billion, respectively.
Data center sales are driving NVIDIA's growth, with the division bringing in $89.02 billion, up 117%. Networking alone grew 138% to $40.31 billion. CEO Jensen Huang highlighted that AI has reached its inflection point, noting that compute is now revenue. The company expects revenue growth of approximately 70% in fiscal 2028, describing it as supply-limited rather than demand-limited.
Despite competition from Amazon's Trainium chips, NVIDIA's outlook remains strong. The company's balance sheet supports cash returns to shareholders, with a debt-to-equity ratio of 0.073 and $99 billion remaining under its buyback authorization. Analysts are overwhelmingly positive, with 10 rating the stock a strong buy and 48 a buy, against just 1 sell.
