NVIDIA's Shareholder Base Sees Significant Shifts Amid Record Results
NVIDIA Corporation (NASDAQ:NVDA) has seen significant changes in its shareholder base over the past few quarters. Davidson Kahn Capital Management LLC, a fund manager, acquired an additional 3,361 shares of NVIDIA stock during the second quarter, resulting in a 42.7% increase in their holdings. As of the end of the most recent quarter, they owned 11,240 shares worth $2,249,000.
This is not an isolated instance, as other institutional investors and hedge funds have also been actively buying or selling NVIDIA shares. For example, State Street Corp increased its holdings by 1.2% in the fourth quarter, while Geode Capital Management LLC lifted its position by 0.6%. Norges Bank bought a new position in NVIDIA stock during the same period.
NVIDIA's performance has been impressive, with the company reporting record results for fiscal Q2. Revenue reached $96.2 billion, up 106% year-over-year, while data center revenue rose 117% to $89.0 billion. Non-GAAP EPS was $2.22, beating expectations of $2.09. Management has also reinforced the AI growth story by forecasting approximately $108 billion in fiscal Q3 revenue and indicating that fiscal 2028 revenue could grow about 70%, exceeding prior Wall Street expectations.
