NX Group and Japan Airlines (JAL) are launching a new weekly Boeing 747 freighter service connecting North America and Asia. The route will operate on a Los Angeles, Narita, Taipei, Singapore, Narita, Los Angeles circuit, with the first flight departing from Los Angeles on October 3.

The partnership targets growing demand for AI- and semiconductor-related cargo, as well as oversized and heavy shipments linked to data center development. JAL has secured a Boeing 747 freighter with a maximum payload of approximately 100 tons through cooperation with its partners.

The Narita, Taipei, Singapore, Narita section of the new service aims to address the limited large-freighter capacity on intra-Asia routes, particularly for AI and semiconductor cargo. The service can handle oversized and heavy shipments, including server racks and other data center equipment.
