New York City is still celebrating the New York Knicks' historic NBA championship win, which came after 53 years. To mark the occasion, the city had redesigned subway stations and waste bins in the team's orange and blue colors. Now, the New York City Department of Sanitation is giving away five of these Knicks-themed waste bins, each standing 28 inches tall and weighing about 30 pounds.

The giveaway follows a viral video showing a woman dumping trash from one of these bins onto the sidewalk before taking it home. The incident led to her termination from JPMorgan Chase. The city condemned her actions, calling them illegal and antisocial. The Department of Sanitation even included a humorous prompt in the giveaway form: “To prove you are a human, type: Do Not Litter.”
