Orchid Launches Digital Marketing Service for Gun Stores, Bypassing Major Ad Platforms
Orchid has launched its Firearm Digital Marketing service for licensed firearms retailers. This new offering is designed to bring shoppers to an FFL's own storefront through search, email, loyalty and marketplace listings.
The service is led by Erik Sherman, Orchid's Director of Growth and Product Strategy. Sherman notes that many gun store owners do not have the hours to be their own marketing department, and advertising on major platforms like Google Ads, Meta, and TikTok is prohibited for firearms and ammunition dealers.
Orchid's Firearm Digital Marketing service focuses on four key areas: getting found, getting the sale, bringing buyers back, and expanding reach. It works within the channels that remain open to licensed dealers, including search engine optimization (SEO), email marketing, and online marketplace listings.
The service is offered exclusively to retailers selling online with Orchid eCommerce, starting at $250 a month for the Starter tier. Firearm Digital Marketing customers will be among the first stores moved onto Orchid's new next-generation eCommerce platform later this fall.
