P&G Acquires Thorne for $3.8 Billion in Supplements Expansion
Procter & Gamble Co. is expanding its product offerings in self-care and wellness through a $3.8 billion acquisition of Thorne, a supplements maker based in Summerville, S.C.
The deal was announced by CEO Shailesh Jejurikar during an interview with CNBC on August 4, 2026.
P&G confirmed the report with a news release posted to its website in the early afternoon of August 4.
The acquisition is expected to expand P&G's presence in the supplements market and provide customers with more choices for self-care and wellness products.
