P&G Completes $501M Ohio Plant Expansion Creating 120 New Jobs
Cincinnati-based consumer goods giant Procter & Gamble Co. (NYSE: PG) has completed a major expansion of its Ohio plant, investing $501 million in the project.
The Lima facility, located about 75 miles north of Dayton, now serves as P&G's largest fabric care manufacturing site by volume, with a new 250,000-square-foot facility added to the site.
The expansion has created 120 new jobs at the plant and boosted shipping capacity by 40%, according to a fact sheet provided by the company. The Lima plant is responsible for producing over 1,000 product innovations each year, including popular laundry brands such as Tide, Gain, and Downy.
