Procter & Gamble (PG) used its appearance at the Barclays 19th Annual Global Consumer Conference to emphasize the importance of execution in achieving growth. CFO Andre Schulten stated that the company's core strategy remains unchanged, but it is overhauling its operating model to improve results. The goal is to tighten accountability, speed up decision-making, and utilize technology such as data, AI, and automation.

The company highlighted improving share trends in several regions, including the U.S., China, Europe, and enterprise markets. However, P&G acknowledged pressure from rising oil prices, freight costs, and tariffs. The company still expects to deliver faster sales and market-share growth within a 12 to 18 month window.

Schulten emphasized that technology is reshaping supply chain, media, and research work for P&G. The company has invested heavily in its Supply Chain 3.0 initiative, which includes maximum automation, unattended shifts, and digital tools for quality, inventory, and warehouse operations.
