Brent Honeywell has signed a minor-league contract with the San Diego Padres after previously signing with the San Francisco Giants in February.
Honeywell, who turned 30 this year, has not pitched in an official game since the 2024 World Series with the Los Angeles Dodgers.
The pitcher will likely work in a relief role at Triple-A El Paso for the Padres.
