Pakistan Seeks International Investment in Energy Infrastructure
Federal Minister for Petroleum Ali Pervaiz Malik met separately with VTTI and Honeywell UOP to discuss investment opportunities in Pakistan's energy infrastructure.
The meetings focused on strengthening the country's energy sector by attracting international investment, leveraging technology, and financing opportunities. VTTI expressed interest in expanding its operations and investing in bonded warehousing and re-export facilities, as well as establishing terminal infrastructure for LPG storage.
Honeywell UOP discussed its ongoing technological contribution to Pakistan's refinery sector and its interest in expanding investment in refinery upgradation. The company highlighted the current environment's potential for tapping into US financing for refinery upgradation and related investments.
