Panos Kozanian Joins Crosspoint Capital Partners as Operating Partner

Crosspoint Capital Partners has bolstered its capabilities in AI and product strategy by adding Panos Kozanian, a former Five9 and Cisco executive, to its operating team as an Operating Partner.

Kozanian will work with the investment firm's professionals and portfolio companies on various aspects, including AI strategy, engineering scale, platform architecture, innovation, and technology evaluation.

The addition of Kozanian comes as Crosspoint looks to help its portfolio companies navigate the impact of AI on cybersecurity, infrastructure software, and product development.

Kozanian brings over 14 years of experience from his tenure at Cisco, where he led the emerging technologies incubation lab. He also helped build Cisco's collaboration software portfolio, including Webex, which saw a surge in demand during the COVID-19 pandemic, growing by 400% with the platform serving 95% of Fortune 500 companies.

Kozanian later served as Executive Vice President of Product Engineering at Five9, overseeing the company's full technology stack and leading a global engineering organization spanning six countries. He helped develop an AI portfolio that grew to over $100 million in revenue during his tenure.
