Pearson Names Winners of 2026 Microsoft Office Specialist World Championship

Pearson's annual Microsoft Office Specialist World Championship has crowned its winners. The competition, which took place in Anaheim, California, brought together 135 finalists from 36 countries who had qualified by passing certification exams and winning national competitions.

The students, aged 13-22, demonstrated their skills in various Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. The top performers were recognized across different tracks, with winners announced for both Microsoft 365 Apps and Office 2019 versions of the software.

'These students have not only earned a valuable credential, they have demonstrated the commitment, capability, and confidence needed to succeed in a fast-changing digital world,' said Arthur Valentine, President of Assessment and Qualifications at Pearson. 'Their initiative and adaptability show exactly the kind of future-ready talent employers need.'
