Pershing Square Adds Netflix, Visa, and Mastercard to Portfolio
Bill Ackman's Pershing Square Capital Management has undergone its largest portfolio overhaul in years, adding three new holdings to the fund's concentrated stock portfolio. According to the latest 13-F filing, Netflix, Visa, and Mastercard have joined the ranks of existing top holdings such as Uber, Microsoft, and Amazon.
The move reflects Ackman's investment strategy of buying undervalued companies with strong growth potential. With a proven track record of delivering average annual gains of around 16%, Pershing Square has consistently outperformed the overall stock market. The fund's concentration suggests a high level of confidence in its holdings, which currently include only 14 stocks.
The addition of Netflix may come as a surprise given the company's recent decline in share price. However, with a P/E ratio of 26, some analysts believe that the stock is undervalued and poised for growth. Visa and Mastercard, on the other hand, are seen as stable investments with a history of delivering strong returns.
