A Trezor user has fallen victim to a phishing scam after clicking on an ad link in Google search results.

The user, who goes by David, was searching for 'Trezor wallet' when he came across a fake page on Google Sites that asked him for his seed phrase.

Trezor warned users not to enter their wallet backup on any site or form and to be cautious of ad results. However, the extent of David's losses has not been independently verified.
