PIA Launches Direct Flights Between Lahore and Manchester
Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) is set to expand its international network with a new direct flight connecting Lahore and Manchester. The service will begin in early July, operating one weekly flight in each direction using a Boeing 777 aircraft.
The Manchester to Lahore route, PK710, will depart every Friday at 7:30 PM and arrive in Lahore at 7:30 AM after an eight-hour journey. In the opposite direction, the Lahore to Manchester route, PK709, will depart every Saturday at 12:25 PM and arrive in Manchester at 5:00 PM with a flight duration of approximately eight hours and 35 minutes.
This expansion is part of PIA's efforts to rebuild its international operations. The airline had earlier resumed direct flights from Lahore to London on March 30, ending a six-year hiatus following lifted restrictions on Pakistani carriers. In addition, PIA has launched three weekly flights from Islamabad to London, further strengthening its presence in the UK market.
Passengers are encouraged to book early as PIA gradually increases its international connectivity to meet growing travel demand.
