Pierre City Officials Review Water Infrastructure Plans

Pierre city officials have been reviewing the city's enterprise-funded departments, including the Water Department. According to City Administrator Kristie Honeywell, the Water Department is divided into two distinct sections. The department has undertaken significant water projects in recent years, with over six-thousand feet of water main replaced as part of the Euclid Avenue project.

Honeywell noted that these improvements have led to fewer issues like main breaks. While other projects are currently on the drawing board, the city continues to prioritize water infrastructure development.
