Pixel 11 Pre-Orders Kick Off Seven Hours Before Google's Big Reveal
Google's Made by Google keynote is set to take place on August 12 in New York, where it will unveil its new flagship phone series, including the Pixel 11, Pro, Pro XL, and Pro Fold. The company has made the unusual decision to allow pre-orders for the devices to go live seven hours before the event starts.
This means that customers can get their orders in at 11am ET/3pm GMT on Wednesday, a full seven hours before the launch event begins. Typically, new tech would go up for pre-order as the launch event starts, but Google is making an exception this time around.
The Pixel 11 series will come with 256GB of storage and may feature a brand-new camera flash indicator light called HiLight. The light will glow to alert users when they receive notifications or interact with certain features on their phone. All new models are expected to start at the same base price as previous models, but with an added £100/$100 price hike due to ongoing RAM shortages.
