Pixel 11 Pro Gaming Capabilities Under Fire Due to Heat Issues
The Google Pixel 11 Pro has retained its title as the best phone display for gaming, but it faces issues that may make it less appealing to gamers. Despite having a bright and vibrant OLED display with HDR10 Plus support, the phone struggles with higher graphics settings in games, leading to overheating and battery drain warnings.
One of the main concerns is the phone's Tensor G6 chip, which has been underpowered compared to other silicon in benchmark testing. This limits the Pixel 11 Pro's ability to achieve high-tier graphics capabilities, forcing it to default to lower settings in games like Diablo Immortal.
The phone's heat management also appears to be an issue, with the camera block becoming uncomfortable to touch during intense gaming sessions. This may be due to the removal of the 128GB entry option, which has led to a higher starting price of $1,099 for the 256GB model.
Despite these concerns, the Pixel 11 Pro still offers a great gaming experience, thanks to its comfortable design and responsive touch controls. However, gamers may want to consider other options that offer better performance and heat management.
