Pixel 11 Pro Upgrade May Not Be Worth It
The latest Pixel smartphone, the Pixel 11 Pro, has been released by Google, and while it offers some incremental upgrades over its predecessor, the Pixel 10 Pro, many of these advancements may not be worth the extra cost. The base model of the Pixel 11 Pro now comes with 256GB of internal storage, but this is offset by a 4GB reduction in RAM compared to the Pixel 10 Pro.
For consumers who are already happy with their Pixel 10 Pro and don't feel the need to upgrade immediately, there's no compelling reason to spend an extra $100. With over 70 months of software support remaining for the Pixel 10 Pro, users can continue to receive updates and enjoy the latest features without feeling pressured to upgrade.
Some may be tempted by the new notification light feature on the Pixel 11 Pro, but this comes at the expense of the thermometer feature, which many users still find useful. The camera upgrades on the Pixel 11 Pro are also not as significant as they seem, and users who don't need to upgrade their phone right now can hold out for a potential sale in the future.
