Pixel 11 Pro Users Report Repeated Shutdowns During Setup

Google's Pixel 11 Pro has been plagued by hardware woes since its release. Dhruv Bhutani, an Android Authority writer, is the latest victim after his phone turned into a brick just five days in. The issue began when he decided to do a factory reset and fresh setup on his device.

During the reset process, the phone blanked out, and whenever Bhutani tried setting up Wi-Fi or signing in to his Google account, it would shut down repeatedly. He checked for obvious issues like a low battery, but nothing worked. Even booting in safe mode didn't solve the problem.

Bhutani's experience is not an isolated incident, as multiple Pixel owners have reported similar shutdown problems on Reddit and Google Support forums. While it's unclear whether this is a widespread defect or a software bug, Google has been offering easy device swaps to affected customers.

For now, the best course of action for affected owners seems to be contacting Google Support to request a replacement. It may be wise for others to hold off on buying the Pixel 11 Pro until more information is available about what's causing the issue.
