Pixel Users Hit by Google Photos Editor Bug: Editing, Sharing Fails After Edits

A bug in the Google Photos editor is preventing users from sharing, editing, and deleting photos on their Pixel phones.

The issue affects multiple generations of Pixel devices, including the Pixel 8, 9, 10, and 11 series. Users can take a photo, edit it, but then encounter unresponsive buttons for Share, Edit, Add to, and Trash once they try to perform another action.

Android Authority has reached out to Google for comment on the situation, which appears to be related to an ongoing effort to improve the Photos app's editing features. The company is reportedly working on enhancing markup tools, including a brush size slider and more colors.
