Pixel Watch 5 Gets First Update with New Features and Improvements

Google has started rolling out the first update for its Pixel Watch 5 on September 5, 2026. The update brings various improvements and new features to the wearable device.

The update takes the Pixel Watch 5 from CD5A.260611.008 to CP3A.260905.002, which remains based on Wear OS 7 and Android 17. Users can check for the update by repeatedly tapping Settings > System > System updates, although factory and OTA images are not yet live.

The changelog highlights several new features and improvements, including Gemini Personalization, Proactive Suggestions, Offline Gemini, Raise to Talk improvements, and Hand Gestures App Expansions. These enhancements aim to make the Pixel Watch 5 more user-friendly and efficient in various tasks.
